The New England Financial Marketing Association is a 100% volunteer run organization. Each of our volunteers, officers and board members gives of their "spare" time to keep the Organization running. Of course we are always looking for new members to contribute their ideas and enthusiasm to our organization.

Annual Planning Meeting
All members are invited to join the Officers, Board of Directors and Committees at our annual strategic planning meeting held in June. During this meeting the goals and priorities for the upcoming year are set.
Officers & Board of Directors
The Board of Directors consists of the following Officers:
Past President
The Past President assists the President at meetings of the Organization and at the meetings of the Board of Directors, and in general, assists in the running of the organization.
President
The President presides over all regular and special meetings of the Organization and at the meetings of the Board of Directors, and, in general, to discharge the duties usually pertaining to that office.
Vice President
The Vice President assists the President in the administration of the organization, and assumes the duties of the President in the absence of the President. The Vice President supports the President and takes on the duties in assisting in the running of the organization at the Presidential or committee director level.
Director(s) of Programming
Working with the Programming Committee, the Director(s) supervises the preparation and implementation of programs throughout the year.
Director(s) of Membership
Heading up the Membership Committee, the Director(s) supervises programs of membership development, recruitment and retention as well as the preparation and distribution of the annual membership directory.
Director(s) of Communications
Leading the Communications Committee, the Director(s) of Communications supervises all communications to the membership including newsletter, direct mail /e-mail marketing, website, and conference communications.
Treasurer/Clerk
The Treasurer is responsible for keeping track of all the organizations finances, and each year presents a report showing the financial condition of the organization at the annual meeting for the Board of Directors.
Committees
We are always looking for members to join one of our committees. After the Planning Meeting most Committee work is completed by phone, fax, and e-mail.
Program Committee
Members of the Program Committee are responsible for planning and conducting the year's educational programs including choosing the topics, locations and speakers for our conferences.
Membership Committee
As a member of this committee you will help promote membership growth through our Ambassador Program (see below). Members also assist with the production of our membership directory.
Communications Committee
The Communications Committee works to promote and publicize our organization and activities through our newsletter, meeting notices, announcements, local media and web site.
Other opportunities
Ambassador
As an Ambassador for the New England Financial Marketing Association, members connect with other financial marketing professionals to encourage membership and participation in the organization.
